the Brant Bjork. Brant

newspaper interview with Brant on April 28, 2010. He had great memories
of shows with CJ and Daniel. I asked his opinion if he would like to

February 18, 2010, High, Tokyo, Japan.
February 19, 2010, Cyclone, Tokyo, Japan.
CJ's bass got stolen. Help to find it:
Yuki Kuroyanagi of the Ramones Fan Club Japan (and author of the I Love
Ramones book) wrote me on February 22, 2010. As you can see above, CJ
Ramone was in Tokyo, Japan in February, 2010. CJ's original custom
Mosrite
bass (only one) got stolen by somebody. Yuki and other fans are trying
to find it in Japan. But instruments can also be sold easily to other
countries. Keep watching after instrument on Ebay and other net and
regular stores etc. Bad guy can't sell it easily. Also bass is easy
to recognize as it has serial number: "000CJ."
If you has some information, please send me an E-mail
here.
You can see CJ with his bass in photos in right. So bass is white,
circle strummerville-sticker is on white-body, CJ Ramone name sigh
is on head on it.
I also included
newspaper article Yuki Kuroyanagi's friend wrote of this subject. You
can print here
flyer/poster she made.
CJ told bass was stolen after second Tokyo show. He, Daniel and Brant
had otherwise great time in Japan and CJ told they wanna continue in
their way to let people know the legacy of Ramones through with their
band.
Yuki as well did mention, how shows were really great and they were
supported by boss of Mosrite Japan. Read more in Ramones Fan
Club Japan site.

The Continental club is still on St. Marks Place in New York. It closed
it's doors on September 17, 2006, after 15 years, and it re-opened on
October 11, 2006 (9PM). Main difference after re-union was that bands
will not be playing anymore at The Continental - only mainly acoustic
shows and it is "trendy bar." Future will tell if there is again regular
shows?
Joey, Dee Dee, Marky and CJ had played there really many shows or did
guest appearances. I has on my books and
on this site many reviews of
the shows at The Continental. Like I added things already in 1996-1997
when Joey and Dee Dee had shows there...
Read a bit more of The Continental in this location
in my news archive.

example Tommy Ramone, Marky Ramone and CJ Ramone attended this event.
So Richie was only surviving Ramones member who couldn't attend this
event
(some people also count Clem Burke...). Read story and see photos of
this
event here.

CANCELLED SHOWS IN SOUTH-AMERICA IN 2005
CJ Ramone was going to play four shows in South-America with Daniel Rey
and Vom of Die Toten Hosen, but...
Rockaway Records, as the main promoter of this tour, has to sadly inform
that the tour that CJ Ramone was planned to do in South-America on October
2005, has been cancelled by the artist's (CJ's) own decision: "We are
very, very
sorry to inform such bad news but there's no further action we can do to
try to convince CJ Ramone about this. He has some personal problems that
demands that he stays in the USA for the following months and don't let
him plan any live appearence in the near future."
Therefore his following 4 appearences:
Wednesday October 19, 2005, Neuquen, Argentina
Thursday October 20, 2005, Rosario, Argentina
Friday October 21, 2005, Buenos Aires, Argentina
Saturday October, 22, 2005, (Punk Rock Invasion 2 show) Sao Paulo,
Brazil
and all events related to the record release parties of tributeCD Todos
Somos Ramones are cancelled by today (September 21).
CJ Ramone is very, very sorry about this cancellation and wants to
apologise to all the South-American fans, but he really can't make the
tour as planned.
I (Jari-Pekka Laitio-Ramone) was also coming to the South-America to see
some
shows. I paid my flight tickets already in early August and then this was
a sad result...
Rockaway Records was worked so hard to get this tour happen, and already
spent so much money that we fans would become happy.
