GABBA PART 1: INTRODUCTION

February 7th, 2000 I got Dee Dee's tourdates in Europe, so it was really long waiting, close to 3 month waiting since I had got info on my Ramoniac mind that Dee Dee is coming and sure there was fears that something will happen, what can cancel the tour or Scandinavian -gigs. Ramones or any Ramone member wasn't toured in Scandinavia after 1994, expect Marky Ramone And The Intruders more early on year 2000. I didn't got chance to see Marky's gigs, so waiting 6 year after my last Ramones/Ramone -gig was sure too long. I'm student, so I don't have got money to travel example to the gigs in Germany and maybe 50% of the money I earn, I spend to the Ramones. But time was going on and I asked from my friend Kimmo if he wanna come to tour with me. He didn't even thinked his answer: " Sure I come ". I tried to ask many many other people also to tour with us, 'cause we take Kimmo's car to the tour. But anyone wasn't able to come. So it was really sad for them, that they missed their chances.

We planned from the beginning to tour 5-6 gig, we had to skip gig in Lund, Sweden (May 2nd) off from our plans, 'cause the driving distance. So we planned to enjoy these gigs:
Wednesday May 3: OSLO - So What - Norway
Thursday May 4: GÖTEBORG - Sticky Fingers - Sweden
Friday May 5: HELSINGBORG - Tivoli - Sweden
Saturday May 6: COPENHAGEN - Café Rust - Denmark
Sunday May 7: ÖREBRO - Contan - Sweden

I contacted my friends in Sweden and Norway, 'cause I wanted to meet them and if I can get some help with sleeping places or infos about the gigplaces. In Norway I send first mail to the Azzy, who also plays in Null$katte$nylterne. Azzy wrote that I can sleep in his house and also he helped with many different ways. Azzy and fan called Harald sent to me infos about the gig place I got also lot of answers from Sweden-fans.

I was really really hurry before I left to tour, 'cause I had to organise all big school projects, Ramones-homepage things, write couple newspaper article, check (and write review) one gigparty in Finland, enjoy time with my darling Paivi (who lives in different city) etc. Paivi gave to me lot of power and she also did some really special surprises, so I knew that this trip have to be dream. Big problem was to choose, what did I get with me for the Dee Dee Ramone autographing. At last I choosed to take with me Keith Green's Dee Dee -photo, Dee Dee King press release papers/photo (+album cover), CD-albumcovers of the Dee Dee Ramone: I.C.L.C -album and -EP, USA- and South-American -pressings of the Ramainz-album, Dee Dee's Ain't It Fun -album, Furious George's: Goes Ape-album, Ramones: Mondo Bizarro and Animal Boy -albumcovers. Also I wanted to take some singles, I choosed Rock'N'Roll Highschool, Dee Dee Ramone And The Chinese Dragons and US-promopressing of the Blitzkrieg Bop. Then couple Ramones-photo and all 3 Dee Dee's Taking Dope -zine, which he has released some years ago. Dee Dee's Poison Heart - Surviving The Ramones -book and Rock Wives -book, which contain 10 page with pictures about Dee Dee and his first wife Vera.

GABBA PART 2: TRIP BEGIN AND TIME IN OSLO

From my homecity I left friday April 28th and May 1st by train to the Turku, where I met with Kimmo (who lives over 300 kilometer away from my hometown). We spent night on the boat and we bought lot of tax free alcohol (vodka, whisky, Jagermeister, red wine and 48 beer can). On boat was also my friend Tapio who run the Uriah Heep -homepage. May 2nd we spent some hours in Stockholm (Capital of Sweden), where I've been working before 3 month. I met my friend Andie also after a long break and later afternoon we began driving to Oslo. It was 500 - 600 kilometer driving, but clock 21 we arrived to the Oslo and Azzy came to the central station. We knew how we look likes, so it was easy to meet. We enjoyed sold out Gluecifer -gig and Hellride's member with Azzy arranged free tickets for me and Kimmo. I also write review of that gig to the punkzines. There was also some great Ramones-fans, like Ulf.

Then finally was May 3rd and I was so excited about Dee Dee's gig, Azzy was really friendly, he gave us to sleep in his house, even he left to the work. My friend Andre called in the morning and he said that he's organised meeting with Dee Dee on afternoon clock 16. I spend some hours with Kimmo in Oslo and we were clock 15.30 in the front of So What. Andre arrived soon and also really really many Ramones-fans visited, Andre introduced them to me. Was nice to talk with many different Norweigean Ramones-fans. Azzy also arrived soon, but he had to leave 'cause his girlfriend Rosa arrived from Spain. Soon it was clock 18.30 and we just thinked that it's so long driving from Lund to Oslo, that Dee Dee comes soon. I also was put my videocamera (which I loaned from Valse Triste -singer Wasky to the place, that I can put it to record when Dee Dee comes and I would then always watch my first meeting with Dee Dee. Then someone called to Andre and told that Dee Dee don't play soundcheck, they comes straigh to the gig. Andre knew what's Dee Dee's hotel and we agreed meeting time there.

Then I, Kimmo, Azzy and Rosa visited on Azzy's house and we left to the Ulf's house to Ramones-meeting. It was nice time before the gig, Ulf and his wife Stine were cooked food for us and we checked Ulf's Ramones-collection, pictures from the Azzy's and Ulf's trip to the New York, where they were visited in many Ramoniac places, they also saw then early Remains/Ramainz-gig. Kimmo has also visited in New York. I show by Internet to Ulf my Ramones-collection and I had my double copy of the Die Toten Hosen: Learning English, Lesson One -CD, which contain Joey Ramone's performance. Ulf gave to me really big Ramones-photoposter (1 meter x 0,7 meter) which is really cool and early picture where's Johnny and Tommy. We agreed that Stine get photoposter to me tomorrow, we get it from his job and that way Azzy and Ulf got chance to come with our car. (Photoposter is so big that it takes whole backseat from the car).

Here's this big photoposter, which I got from Ulf. Dee Dee signed dedicated autograph to me for that later on Helsingborg.

Andre called that he already met with Dee Dee, so we left to drive to the hotel and Andre was got signed by Dee Dee his New York Yankees -baseball ball and example Blitzkrieg '76 -bootleg album. We looked Dee Dee's gigwagon in the front of hotel, and then we just waited on the lobby. Soon Dee Dee's crewmember Frank arrived and we asked possibilities to get some photos with Dee Dee etc. He hope that we go to gigplace, 'cause Dee Dee is so busy, but Frank let me to wait when I show some papers from that my homepage etc. Also other crewmember Brian visited. Azzy, Rosa and Andre waited outside, but Dee Dee arrived soon and Kimmo began to videotape my first meeting with Dee Dee. I discuss with Dee Dee one minute, before Dee Dee left by walking to the So What (only 200 meter distance), I had to pack videocamera things (and fucking videotape battery was get some problems and Kimmo wasn't got chance to videotape only 0,5 second), after 1 minute Dee Dee came to back and he was left to wait me outside hotel. ***Wow***, I thinked and so I left immediately and Kimmo packed left of our items. Dee Dee said that he liked about my humour, I don't know exactly what he meant with it. Then we just walked to the gigplace.

My first photo with Dee Dee, I was really happy like you can see and later I asked Dee Dee to autograph that photo, like he did. Autograph is good, but it was hard to get well to that photoscan.

GABBA PART 3: ROCK-ROCK-ROCKAWAY BEACH, PRELUDE TO THE FANTASY

I was so shaked before the gig, that I only remember some things, like local support band Mensen was pretty good and I they were weared to the jackets which contained Ramones-marks etc., I saw them carrying stuff to the So What when I was first time waiting Dee Dee. But only what I knew was that Dee Dee's gonna play soon and I already met Dee Dee alive, I've to say that I didn't realized even in Oslo, that I really see Dee Dee playing I've so so many years wished and hoped that maybe someday I see Dee Dee alive and now my dream was all the time rollin' on. I took my place from the first line, it was Barbara's side, Dee Dee played on left (when look stage from the audience) and it was first Rock-Rock-Rockaway Beach, I was just crazy and that feeling is unforgettable. I'm writing that part of review on my home and I can check from the set list that on my first Ramones-concert in Nummirock 24.6.1994 Ramones played Rockaway Beach in the middle of the set, before Commando and Sheena Is A Punk Rocker, but now I heard Dee Dee's version. I've to say honestly that I love Rockaway Beach much more now than before Dee Dee's gigs. Then I really feeled that I get Lobotomy, Teenage Lobotomy cutted and smashed positive way my brain and I was totally hoppin' and enjoying. Then third song - Beat On The Brat is one of my all time favourite songs by Ramones and it was awesome to heard at live, already in the beginning of the set. But then came some problems and Chase's drums was little bit damaged, but they got it fast fixed -thank god - 'cause I didn't wanted breaks, I was waited too many years to wait some minutes more drum fixing.

Some threw rosebunch to the stage and Dee Dee put them to front of the drums. Barbara was also like a rose, really beautiful and she looked happy all the time. Dee Dee also looked great, I was little bit afraided 'cause I heard that he wasn't in a best condition in some Germany-gigs. Also I got - before I left to tour - some really positive comments and reviews about Dee Dee's gigs, like Tosi really liked Dee Dee's performance. I don't know why Kimmo, Rosa and Åsmund wanted to check gig from the left side of the club, I thinked that their place is too far to watch to stage, but maybe they just wanted to watch Dee Dee, not pogo too much. Dee Dee was weared for the blue jeans and short sleeved white shirt with some orange color (not using Converse's), Dee Dee used one lined rivetbelt. Dee Dee and Chase weared for the red T-shirts.

I was in a heaven, so much meant for me to get chance specially to listen songs like Pet Sematary, Judy Is A Punk, Blitzkrieg Bop. I was really Cretin Hoppin' when that song was played, I was wearing that official founding member Ramones-jacket, where back side says: " 1-2-3-4 Cretins Wanna Hop Some More ". Also I wanted to wear official founding member T-shirt and be proud to be part of the Ramones-family and happy that Ramone-members/ Arturo choosed me to get fan club number 11, first 10 were given to the Ramones and people close to them. It meant to me really lot to get honour to get first fan number and I wanted to wear official Ramones-things on my first "Ramones-gig" after too many years. Dee Dee played also Listen To My Heart, I listened Dee Dee's heart and he was happy. When Loudmouth! was played, I thinked Jörg's Loudmouth! -magazine and his work for the Ramones. When Sheena was played, I thinked my performances with Ne Luumäet on last summer, on 3 festival in Finland and 1 special goodbye gig to the legendary punkplace called Lepakko. I think that Ne Luumäet is the most best Ramones-coverband ever and it's now 14 year when they started, and last year they did re-union after six year their split-up, but re-union only for last summer and it was really special to get singed many times Sheena (Siina On Punk Kari), it was their last Ramones-cover song on every re-union gig.

I was taking over 20 live photo from the gig and my film was in the end after last songs in first encore, which were Havana Affair and I Don't Wanna Go Down To The Basement. After these we got Wart Hog and surprisinly Master Plan from Dee Dee's latest album Hop Around. Then it was over, my first gig with Dee Dee, I searched my friends and sure they seemed to be happy. Here was maybe 200 people looking at Dee Dee on Oslo, So What.

I got after gig more time to talk with Norweigean Ramones-fans. Dee Dee spent long time in backstage, but I talked with Joanna - crewmember - who sold Dee Dee's shirts and latest album. I introduced also for her some prints from my page and I discussed generally about her thoughs of the Dee Dee's gigs. Barbara arrived soon and I asked some autographs from her, to my Ramainz-CD's, Taking Dope -zines and for the Alfredo, whom I asked to send some think for the autographing. Dee Dee didn't toured in Spain - where Alfredo lives - and also he was just sent some cool Ramones-photos to me. Also Rosa videotaped when I was discussing with Barbara and she was so happy after the gig, Barbara also waved to the camera and sent greetings. Dee Dee visited also soon and sure so many were asking his autographs, Dee Dee smiled to the videocamera also with one special way. At all it was 1,5 minutes videotaping part. Then Dee Dee said to me that they're leaving away, but he was too tired to do interview, I was talked little bit about it with Brian (manager). I walked with Dee Dee to his hotel and when I was coming back to the club I saw Chase and also Kimmo, Azzy and Rosa were there. Azzy asked from Chase is he from Los Angeles (he was) and then I asked from Chase is he from SexyChrist, he was and then I knew that he really was Chase. Before that I wasn't sure who he's exactly, I showed to Chase that there was some info about him already on my page, we talked over 5 minute and Chase wished: " Rock'N'Roll for people ! " and asked if we tour to see more gigs. Chase was really friendly at all. Joanna and Frank (other manager) also arrived and I discuss with Frank possibilities to do next day interview with Dee Dee (in Göteborg). He told it was OK and then we left to Azzy's house. It was really hard to get sleep 'cause I thinked what was happened...., but I was happy and I sent many angels to my darling - Paivi.

Barbara, sweet like rose and Dee Dee's wife. Barbara has tattooed skulls for her right hand, back side.

GABBA PART 4: BORN TO WIN

In the morning - thorsday May 4th - Azzy wake up early and he again left to work, so it was time to say so many thanks of his kindness and all help. I took my camera film to the photoshop and I bought some food. Then shower was more than enjoyable and also got chance to eat well, before eating I had to say goodbye Rosa with Kimmo and we got photos from the shop, I was ordered doublecopies, it was great to see that photos were OK, specially I loved that photo of the Barbara which I already added for that review, on that photo all is well and it's on balance (one of my best shots ever). It was long way to drive and we only stopped some times in a way, but we had to wait long time in Göteborg 'cause of traffic-jam. I drive to the city and I searched parking place for the car and after that starting motor of the car was get broken.... So we started to search that gigplace called Sticky Fingers by walking. I was got address from Tomas Andersson, some women showed to us wrong way, but at last we found Sticky Fingers. I was talked with Frank to do interview on the Dee Dee's hotel and they showed up us the way, but when we get to hotel, I saw Dee Dee and Brian walking and Dee Dee came to say hello to me, but he was hurry and Joanna told that it's not possibility to do interview today 'cause too long driving distance, Dee Dee's have to rest.

Then I walked with Kimmo to the gigplace and we discussed with some fans, Annika and his boyfriend Calle were first time on that gigplace and they were friendly. Then I met Tomas Andersson, who was gave these gigplace details and we were mailed already many years. Then we started to drink some vodka and whisky. Also it was nice to talk long time with Pär Gottfridsson who was already seen Ramones at live 1976 in London with Clash. We had a really nice time and great Ramones-discussions. Pär was seen Dee Dee in Lund (2nd may) and soon bar was opened and he wanted to serve for me and Kimmo Budweiser-beers ("Ramones-beer", Blitzkrieg Bop -song was used on Budweiser-TVcommercial some years ago).

Dee Dee came to shake my hands also in Göteborg before the gig. Sticky Fingers was pretty good bar and there was also maybe 200 people in audience. I got my place in first line and Dee Dee started with good way Rockaway Beach and Teenage Lobotomy, but then he played Commando and feeling was fantastico. In Oslo the audience seemed to care more, mostly all went to the stage to see the Dee Dee closer. But it was their mistake, sure there was also lot of people in the front of stage, but too many in a bar. In Göteborg Dee Dee played only Hop Around and Rock ’n Roll Vacation in L.A. from his latest album. Dee Dee played maybe 12 song on first set, then little break before the first encore and maybe 8 song more. Same was on every gig, then audience in Sticky Fingers got chance to listen:
Hanging out on Second Avenue Eating chicken vindaloo
I just want to be with you I just want to have something to do
Tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight
Wait-Now Wait-Now
, so was time of the I Just Want To Have Something To Do, that song Dee Dee didn't played in Oslo. After that they played I Don't Wanna Go Down To The Basement and show was again over.....

Andre was also been driven from Oslo to Göteborg, his girlfriend lives in Göteborg and they helped us to push car on and get car to the gas station. We found model repair shop and Kimmo started to get off start motor, it wasn't so bad to sleep in a car. So in the morning repair man just got chance to start to search where's problem, it took 4-5 hour to get fixed and then Kimmo put start motor back and thank god we got chance to keep going our touring with Dee Dee. Even that fixing cost 1094 Swedish kronor (maybe 130US$).

GABBA PART 5: FANTASTICO

It wasn't so long driving to Helsingborg, so we got pretty early for that city, even these car problems. We had search gig place Tivoli some time, but at last we found it and I saw Dee Dee's -gigwagon. I saw Frank and Brian, they told me come in (Tivoli wasn't open) and I just hanged out there some time with them. Owner of the club was pretty friendly and he came to shake our hands, then Chase bring me something to drink and soon they started soundcheck. Kimmo was waiting in his car, but then he searched parking place and he came in also. I talked long time with Chase about SexyChrist, he was happy about current times and happenings with SexyChrist. I asked from Frank and Brian why Dee Dee didn't came to Finland, they told me that main reason was, that there wasn't gig in Stockholm. They was tried to organise gig to Stockholm, but without results. And then it wasn't good to came to Finland. At first Brian played/soundchecked Dee Dee's guitars and Barbara's bass. Then I videotaped when Chase soundchecked his drums. It was nice to look and I talked with Frank that I do that night finally interview with Dee Dee, before the gig. Then I and Kimmo walked to our car and then I heard that some one yell my name, it was Tompa, his friend was recognized our finnish car and he knew how do I look like. We sit in a bar near of Tivoli and it was lot of discussing, we talked about our first Ramones-live experiences etc., Tompa was sawn Ramones first time at Copenhagen and his friend 1988 - 1989 in Hultsfred-festival. Tompa's friend also bid our a beers. I was trying to get Helsingborg's -newspaper from kiosks which contained Dee Dee -article, without results. Then we left back to the Tivoli and I was preparing to big happening.....

Then I walked to backstage and discussion with Dee Dee, Barbara, Chase... started easily. So I was planning to do interview with Dee Dee, but at first I wanted introduce more this my Ramones-homepage.

Then I showed my Dee Dee -picture by Keith Green.
Then Joanna came to the room and Dee Dee asked van keys from her. Then Barbara draw for one page on first Taking Dope -fanzine (page contains example: one punkrocker guy, some New York -apartments, gravestones etc). Barbara added/draw one big dragon, slug (Do you remember Ramones-song: SLUG), some skulls, mouse, spider, their Kessie-dog and her autograph with date. You can feel that my feeling was really fabulous.

Then Dee Dee came back to the room and discussed with Barbara about his tour diary -book. Barbara answered to Dee Dee: sure you can, it's yours. She answered for really shocking happening, Dee Dee wanted to give for me his tour diary. I can't believe it, he get it from the van.

GABBA PART 6: COMMANDO

Dee Dee was in really good feelings, we discussed some time. Dee Dee autographed aso this really big Ramones-photoposter, which Ulf gave to me in Oslo. Kimmo videotaped autographing, but he forgot to take off lens protector, sadly... I wanted to ask my dream question.
I and Kimmo wanted to leave guys alone and was nice to hang out in Ramoniac-audience. Before the gig started, I decided with Kimmo that I videotape first half of the gig and Kimmo second half. Gig started again with classics. All was well as on the gigs before. I was also taking some photos 'cause my videotaping (and photographing) place was so great, like a second floor for what fans can't go normally. So it was maybe 10 meters more high than stage. But... Dee Dee spoke something in a stage, then Frank run to me and told to go stage. Kimmo came and took videocamera. I can see from videotape when Dee Dee says: "Come up to stage", he meant me. But then also 2 swedish-fan climbed for the stage without permission - other was Björn Glasell - and Commando started. I don't know why Dee Dee played Commando so early and 'cause of it I was little bit confused.... I did big fuckin' mistake, I forgot this little midpart (where's no singing) which antedate chorus... So I started chorus and singing too early, it's really sad to watch from tape. Brian show for Dee Dee: "cut, cut, let's start song again". But Dee Dee just smiled and continued. But I understood my mistake and rest of the song went really well. But even nowadays I can't understand how can do mistake on song, which has sang and listen probably thousand times. Dee Dee standed at my back and during the singing I turn and show for Dee Dee Commando-rules.
Dee Dee smiles back. I pogo then songs with Tompa. Also one fan (sorry, I can't member the name) ask from me: "Are you Jari-Pekka", he was read from this my page that I'm touring these gigs. This fan was really nice and after the gig he wanted to offer beer for me and Kimmo. We discussed many things in a bardesk, Dee Dee comes to sign autographs for fans.
Later I spoke with bartender, I noted his Michael Monroe -shirt. Bartender was fan of Monroe and Hanoi Rocks. He also wanted to offer beer for me.

Then I visited in a backstage and after it I, Kimmo and Tompa left for Tompa's house. We started Ramoniac-party, we drank more alcohol, watched Ramones-videos, Tompa listened first time Dust-albums which I had taken with me. Tompa had got really nice house. After some hours sleeping Tompa told for us some advices how to get most easy for Denmark.

Boat between Sweden and Denmark was expensive... We found gig place pretty easily. We were waiting in front of Cafe Rust and soon guys arrived. We discussed some minutes with Frank and Brian, then they walked inside. I and Kimmo started to search normal batteries for tape-recorder from Copenhagen, only kiosks were open and we didn't found any batteries. Then we left back to gig place and we sat down to the street. There were one man and woman, we started to talk with them. This man knew me and my page, he was friendly and we drank some beers. Then we go in and waited that gig will begin. Dee Dee came to shake my hands and I feeled really well when he's so friendly. Gig started with really classics, again we hit first the Rockaway Beach and then we fans wanted to get Teenage Lobotomy -treatment. I feeled little bad, when came Commando, 'cause I was did that fuckin' mistake during singing it on Göteborg. But then I thinked I don't care too much about it and I sang I Don't Care with audience. Fans got after these songs Sheena Is A Punk Rocker and Beat On The Brat. There was some problems with playing, like Blitzkrieg Bop had to start three times. Of the covers Dee Dee played example I Wanna Love You and Mr. Postman.

Sure I was standing on the first row and Chase threw his towel for audience, I and this guy which I met in front of the gig place got it. We fight little bit of it, but at last I got it for me when I told that Dee Dee probably comes to audience after the gig. Guy was happy when Punishment Fits The Crime was played again. Sadly Dee Dee didn't got time to come audience after the gig, but this guy got autographs later when Dee Dee was leaving the building.

After the gig Chase autographed lot stuff for the fans and later I walked to backstage with him. Dee Dee did little interview for one fanzine on backstage with one girl and boy, sadly I never got this fanzine, even they promised to send it. There was good time to talk with Chase and Barbara, we discussed general things. They also looked gig from my videocamera and later also Dee Dee, 8 minutes. He liked of the watching.
John Carco has sent and autographed for me many great items, like I.C.L.C -backstage passes from South-America and also I.C.L.C's Chinese Bitch -EP (John: To Jari- , thanks for the everything man. You're the best. John Carco, D.D.R. I.C.L.C. N.Y.C), now was great to get Dee Dee's autograph for EP. Dee Dee autographed my items maybe 12 minutes, I also asked Dee Dee's autographs to Alfredo (lives is Spain) and Takuto who lives in Japan.

Dee Dee wrote dedication to me and then "Dee Dee Ramone ....can survive and be happy to", for the Mondo Bizarro -album, that page which contain Poison Heart -lyrics.
Dee Dee signed normal autograph with silver pen to the Standing On The Spotlight -album cover. For Dee Dee King -press information papers he put: " Gucci Gerorge Amin A U/Valchie, To Jari Pekka, Dee Dee King.
To Ramainz-albums: US-pressing: dedication to me and then his autograph for the cover. Barbara signed dedicated autograph for the back page and she draw also pic of their dog Kessie. Ramainz: South-American -pressing, both signed their pics, middle page on the booklet: Barbara dedicated to me and then his autograph with stars (black pen), Dee Dee signed normal autograph (silver pen). For the Animal Boy -booklet Dee Dee also signed his fabulous dedicated autograh, fans you can be sure that I'm totally happy, Dee Dee is really great and friendly person.
I've got also promocopy of the first Ramones-single (US-pressing of the Blitzkrieg Bop) and Dee Dee wrote his dedicated autograph for the middle of the record. I got his autograph also for the Dee Dee Ramone And The Chinese Dragons -single (green vinyl -pressing).

Then Ramone-crew left the building. Soon Damir Zejcirovic, his brother Edin and their friends Adi and Fedza came to backstage. Damir was saw gig in London and talked there with Dee Dee. I promised to deliver his message for Dee Dee. They're living now in Denmark, but they're originally from Bosnia. I show and gave their messages to Dee Dee, he read them but seemed that he didn't remember guys.

We slept in a car in Copenhagen, but then in a morning we drove back to Sweden...
It wasn't too hard to find our last gig place, Contan in Orebro. I was waiting there and talking with Frank, Dee Dee came to talk and shake my hands also, I asked then possibilities of the interview and can I get chance to sing also song on that night, but Dee Dee told: yes for the interview, but not singing today. I understood it well. Then I met one journalist, who was doing little interview about Dee Dee to Internet-magazine. He was also visited many times in my Ramones-homepage. He was a great guy and we discuss a lot, he weared Misfits: A Fiend Club T-shirt.

Contan wasn't only a gig place, it was also the hotel and restaurang. Dee Dee and whole his crew came to eat, they had great feelings and then happened something really special and strange (with a Ramoniac and positive way). Dee Dee came to give for me fish soup, he said that this is for you and he try to organise food also for the Kimmo. He got also food for the Kimmo, that also showed how special and friendly Dee Dee is. We're lucky that our hero is so great. But it was bad for me, that I could't eat that food 'cause I'm a vegetarist and I don't eat fish. Kimmo ate both soups. I asked from Stefan, who worked in Contan about vegetarian food, but at the moment there was no any. They didn't knew to prepare for it, when Dee Dee -crew was ordered their food. But that was really special and warm happening to me.

Interview was great, results come later for my page. There was also Erik Pettersson doing interview with Dee Dee for Expressen (pretty big newspaper on Sweden), Erik wasn't friendly, seemed that he things that he's something special, he was overweening. Later I got that magazine, thanks to Heikki Hulkko. Dee Dee seemed to be tired and he wanted to go back to his hotelroom.

(Poster: Number 1) Dee Dee Ramone's autograph 2) Chase's dedicated autograph with date 3) Barbara's 4) Brian's "Jari-Pekka, thanks for the memories, luv" 5) Frank's "Frankie says: I'm so pissed off right now! 6) Joanna's)

I videotaped gig from the beginning, maybe 30 minutes and then Kimmo arrived to look our stuff, 'cause I wanted to videotape also from the first line. Sure I could't get to the middle of the first line 'cause fanatic and happy Ramones-fans, but to the left side and then Dee Dee played Wart Hog and Pet Sematary, fuckin' great. End of the show I jumped in window sill, there was good and close place to take photos and enjoy the show. I also took photos for Mathias Landin, who later sent to me some newspapers which contained Dee Dee Ramone -articles.

I talked long time with Fredrik Eriksson after the gig. My feelings were really strange then, I was really enjoyed Dee Dee's 5 gig and we gotta go in the morning.....

Also after the gig in Orebro, I asked gig's setlist from Chase Manhattan, he autographed it. On backstage Dee Dee was talking with girls from support band and then I asked his autograph for the set list also + Barbara's. After the gig I was bought yet one more Dee Dee's T-shirts and got poster from Joanna. Later I autographed it by Dee Dee, Barbara and Chase on the backstage, also I wanted to ask also autographs from Brian, Frank and Joanna, 'cause they were so so great persons, helped me a lot and they were make my trip possibility, trip of dreams.

Dee Dee hugged with me twice before he left and gave kiss for neck, also I hugged with other members. It wasn't easy to leave, but .....

Thanks: Dee Dee, Barbara, Chase, Brian, Frank, Joanna and all you fans, you don't know how I and Kimmo appreciate everything what happened.

Also check out my interview with Barbara.
