CONCERT DATES IN 2002

Before Dee Dee Ramone passed away on June 5, 2002, Dee Dee's guitarist Christian Black wrote to me in spring of 2002, and told that currently Dee Dee and he are playing L.A. Guns bass player Stefan Adika and Anthony Smedile (drums).

Christian also said then, that they were supposed to play in Japan soon.
These were final concert dates, but last one was in Las Vegas on May 25... Dee Dee's last performance was Saturday (June 1) at the punk rock tribute-themed Club Makeup in Los Angeles.

Dee Dee was planned to record in June 14, 2002 show at the Key Club in Hollywood, CA... There was coming out CD of that show in fall 2002... Marky was also planned to play then.... CD would have been produced by Gilby Clarke, former guitarist of Guns 'N Roses. This was coming out by Heat Slick Records. Heat Slick Records was founded in 2002 by Scott Beebe. Heat Slick is about rock and roll music. All forms and all styles.

Dee Dee played in Hollywood at the Cat Club on Sunset Boulevard every Saturday night in late 2001 and early 2002.





On this tour Dee Dee sang and played bass, Chase Manhattan drums and Christian Black guitar. Christian was new guitarist, then in 2001 he was 23 years old. Dee Dee's wife Barbara wasn't touring, 'cause this tour would have been too hard for her etc.
