Richie Ramone explains here about Tommy Mills, of whom music Richie said is kind of 60's music meets 90's music. They are gonna tour together.
Richie mailed me more information in November 4, 2011:
- I really loved this kid and his music was something I had to play. His album is going to be released Thankgsgiving. It is a power trio and Tommy Mills called me about doing the tour. I did not play on the record. I am going to put my tour off for a couple months, Richie Ramone explains.
Richie and Tommy Mills And The Jade Amenity were going to play first show on December 31st, 2011, Tacoma, Washington (USA) and do more shows in the USA and Europe. Tour is postponed.
RICHIE RAMONE AND THE RAMONAS (NOVEMBER 29, 2011):
Richie Ramone sent me following message about special show in advance: "I am going to do a show with The Ramonas at The Camden Underworld in London, UK in November 29th, 2011. That is going to be a great show with me singing and playing drums."
The Ramonas has played for many years Ramones tribute shows. Earlier one member was Clare Pproduct of the AntiProduct.
That night was punkrocked around 30 songs. First part The Ramonas performed alone, songs like I Believe In Miracles, R.A.M.O.N.E.S., Rockaway Beach, Teenage Lobotomy and Beat On The Brat.
Richie Ramone and The Ramonas played together 17 Ramones songs, including many songs Richie has written (Smash You, I'm Not Jesus, Somebody Put Something In My Drink and Can't Say Anything Nice) etc.
